About the league

Catan, beer, and friendly competition in Canmore.

Canmore Catan League

The league brings players together for regular-season Catan games. The previous league page listed Monday games at 7 pm at the Rose & Crown in Canmore; confirm current meeting details with the organizers.

League rules

Regular-season table placements are decided by a card draw. If either die lands leaning or across multiple surfaces, reroll both dice.

Understanding the scores

Standings rank players by average score, with each game normalized to ten points: score divided by the winning target, multiplied by ten. Games count equally.

Knights counts knight cards played; road length measures the longest connected road. A hat trick means winning while holding both largest army and longest road. Karma records positive and negative sportsmanship votes. Average knights, roads, hat tricks, and karma are calculated per game.

The minimum-night filter shows players who attended at least 30% of the season's busiest player's nights. In All seasons, qualifying in any season is enough.
